Proposal · 2026Staff comms on tablets in every staff room. Quiet, flexible and still there when other channels are not.

We have been talking with Sanctuary Care over a number of years. With several other comms channels recently going down, there is renewed interest in a channel that reaches care colleagues reliably, wherever they are in their shift.
TrouDigital proposes tablets in staff rooms, giving colleagues access to staff comms in a way that is non intrusive and flexible. Nothing reaches the care floor, and colleagues catch up during a break at their own pace.
The platform is centrally managed by Comms, with home managers able to add local notices, and it does not depend on email or the intranet to keep working.

You asked, and we've listened. Here are four must haves we've identified from our conversations, and how we would plan to action each of them.
Recent outages on other channels showed how quickly staff can lose touch. Tablets run independently of email and the intranet, and keep playing their latest content from local cache if the network drops.
Tablets sit in staff rooms, away from residents. There are no pop ups, no sound and nothing on personal phones, so colleagues read updates on their break rather than being interrupted on the floor.
Comms can publish once to every home, while our parameters feature fills in local detail such as the home name and manager. Home managers can add their own notices within locked templates.
We have valued our conversations with Sanctuary Care over the years. A named account manager would arrange regular meetings, share new features and make sure feedback from your homes shapes our roadmap.

A three-tier hierarchy would give Sanctuary Care central brand governance from Internal Comms and Marketing, a local voice for each home, and room for specialist teams to take on their own content later.

A comms channel only helps when it is on. Our support team would keep every staff room tablet live, with visibility for Sanctuary Care and intervention from us before it becomes a ticket.
Our support team sits in the UK, so Sanctuary Care would speak to people who know the estate, in the same working day and the same time zone.
Sanctuary Care would have access to a reporting dashboard that is operational around the clock, showing tablet status and playback history whenever it is needed.
The team frequently handles support proactively, alerting customers when a tablet goes offline and working behind the scenes to bring it back online.
Sanctuary Care would be onboarded by our projects team, then looked after day to day by support. The two work closely together, sharing home detail and content decisions so nothing would be lost in the handover.
Sanctuary Care would have a named account manager, taking every enquiry and routing it to the right department, whether that is support, accounts or marketing.

The platform is hardware agnostic. We recommend tablets for staff rooms, as they are small, quiet and easy to place, with screens as an option where a room calls for one.
Slim commercial tablets on a secure, lockable wall mount, powered at the wall so they stay on and charged without anyone looking after them.
For staff rooms where wall fixing is not ideal. A lockable desk stand in portrait or landscape, with touch for QR codes and surveys.
Where a staff room is larger or shared, a commercial screen can run the same content alongside the tablets.
Each tablet is set up and registered before it is sent to the home, so all a home needs to do is fix it in place and plug it in. Every device is then managed remotely from the same platform.
The tablets can integrate with the channels Sanctuary Care already uses, such as Blink or your intranet. Posts and pages can be brought onto the tablets, with QR codes linking back to the full article, so the tablets add reach rather than another place to manage.
Staff can tap through to the information they need, whether that is a new safeguarding policy or this week's rota. They can read in full, come back to it on their next break and confirm they have read it.
Thank You · 2026Starting with staff room tablets, TrouDigital can grow into a connected platform for staff engagement, training and compliance, and later resident facing screens across every home.
A single button that takes over every staff room tablet with an urgent update, so nothing relies on a channel that might be down.
Content timed around handovers and break times, so day and night shifts see the messages meant for them.
Prompts for mandatory training, with QR codes straight to e-learning and policy updates.
Celebrate colleagues, share thank yous from families and signpost wellbeing support in every home.
Turn one piece of content into local content for every home, with its own name, manager and contacts.
Live Power BI and survey results shared with teams, so colleagues see the impact of their feedback.
If the system ever becomes resident facing, screens can easily be added around the home for menus, events and activities, and to welcome families and visitors, all run from the same platform.
Staff surveys, polls and read receipts, so Comms can see what has landed and where to follow up.

Digital signage, made simple.
Thank you for your time, and for continuing the conversation with us.
